A sculpture that you can fit yourself inside of.

As a person of color, I am susceptible to racial profiling and I have an emotional and personal connection to black victims of police brutality and racial profiling. The FRAGILE on the box ties back to Henry “Box” Brown, a Virginia slave that mailed himself to freedom in a wooden crate in 1849. The taped outlines of my feet are a representation of me placing myself in black victims’ shoes whenever I am informed about yet another racist cop crime. The decapitated foot represents the remnants of the victim(s), and the color blue symbolizes cop uniforms.
