I was born in Haiti and was adopted at five months. Following my adoption, my journey as a world traveler began. I lived in Poland until the age of four and spoke Polish and French. I moved to the United States shortly after, and then moved to Kenya from age seven to nine. I remember going on safaris and seeing wild animals up close. The Kenyan culture was remarkable and unforgettable, and so was the art. When we left Kenya, Ethiopia was our next home for a short time. I went to middle school in Bahrain, and was immersed in the beautiful ceramic work that was made there. Lastly, we moved back to Vienna, Virginia for high school, and finally settled down in Williamsburg, Virginia 10 years ago. Our current home is adorned with paintings, masks, and ceramics that contain the memories of the places we have visited and lived. I still love traveling and will always cherish it.
